I have been a part of Glen Burtnik's Summer of Love Concert since 2013. In that time, we've toured the US and even taken the show abroad to the Bermuda Music Festival in 2017. This will be the 9th concert in a row at The Count Basie Theater. The Summer of Love refers to the period of time generally between the 1967 release of The Beatles' revolutionary album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and the famous Woodstock Music and Art Festival in 1969. So, we cover a lot of music in the show, by artists like like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jefferson Airplane, The Association, The Turtles, Sly and The Family Stone, Richie Havens, The Beach Boys, Scott McKenzie, The Mamas and the Papas, Country Joe, Ravi Shankar, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker, Melanie, The Spencer Davis Group, Cream, The Youngbloods, and more.

We're faithful to the classic live and studio arrangements and musical details, but most importantly for me, the spiritual energy of this music and the time era from which it was born. To top it off we have the original Pig Light show created by Marc Rubenstein, who was there when all of this was happening. He did these oil lamp effects back in the day at the Filmores East and West and countless concerts in between. I have the honor and the joy of joining my good friend, Glen Burtnik, the star and heartbeat of our show, and the amazing cast of talented friends he's assembled. I get to perform songs from Sly Stone and The Family Stone, and Otis Redding. Music from from the Isley Brothers, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Fifth Dimension and the Five Stairsteps has come in and out of the rotation as well. This is music I love and it's musical DNA of so much of the other music that I make. The show is always great, but the Basie is where it all started and there's no place like home.
