We're doing it again. The Summer of Love has been hitting the performing arts centers all summer long and now we're coming to the Suffolk for the 1st time. I've been a part of this show for 11 years now. My dear friend, multi-instrumentalist, singer - songwriter, recording artist, Glen Burtnick (The Weeklings, Styx, The Orchestra, comprised of former members of E.L.O. & Beatlemania ) is the ring leader of his stellar 20 piece band of musicians for this tribute concert experience. The arrangements are detailed, meticulous with strings, horns, percussion, plenty of guitars, and a bevy of distinctive fantastic artists, performers and personalities. The concert is alive with “Summer of Love” energy as we channel and re-imagine the spirit of the original recordings along with the Woodstock and Monterey Pop live versions of classics songs ranging from Joanie Mitchel's "Woodstock" to Sly”s “Dance To The Music”. I will be summoning my deep love for Sly Stone and Otis Redding , the Temptations and Marvin Gaye. It’s all good vibes!
